Short overview and main highlights

Georgia in five days — from Tbilisi to the Black Sea coast. The tour brings together the capital, the Kazbegi mountains, the Kakheti wine region, ancient Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe, Kutaisi and the nature of western Georgia — Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon.

Day 1 — Tbilisi: the Old Town, Narikala Fortress, Abanotubani, Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, Metekhi, the Bridge of Peace, Rustaveli Avenue and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Night in Tbilisi.

Day 2 — Kazbegi: Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, the Gudauri Panorama, Stepantsminda and Gergeti Trinity Church. Night in Tbilisi.

Day 3 — Kakheti: Bodbe Monastery, Sighnaghi, the Tsinandali Estate and a traditional wine cellar with wine tasting. Night in Tbilisi.

Day 4 — We leave Tbilisi at 09:00: Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, then Uplistsikhe and lunch in Gori. Around 17:00 we reach Kutaisi — the Colchis Fountain and the White Bridge. Night in Kutaisi.

Day 5 — Prometheus Cave at 09:30, lunch with Megrelian cuisine, Martvili Canyon and a boat ride. Around 17:30 we arrive in Batumi, where the tour ends.

The fourth day of the tour ends here and we spend the night in Kutaisi, from where we head to the nature of Western Georgia the next morning.

It features emerald/turquoise water, rich Colchian vegetation, moss covered rocky gorges and beautiful cascading waterfalls. Kolkheti fountain
Kolkheti Fountain is located in the central square of Kutaisi and is one of the main symbols of the city. The fountain is decorated with golden figures, which are created according to the archaeological objects of Colchian gold and remind us of the wealth of ancient Colchis. The illuminated fountain looks especially impressive in the evening. It is an ideal place for photos and to start a walk in the city center.

The White Bridge is a 19th century historical bridge over the Rion River and is one of the most famous places in Kutaisi. The bridge has sections of transparent, glass floor from which the rushing river can be seen below. From here there is a beautiful view of the old city, the banks of Rion and the direction of the Bagrat temple. The White Bridge is the best place for an evening stroll in Kutaisi.

Cave of Prometheus
The Prometheus Cave is one of the most impressive and large-scale natural monuments of the Imereti region, namely Tskaltubo municipality. It is located near Kumistavi village. The cave is distinguished by its grandiose dimensions and variety of karst formations — stalactites, stalagmites, stalagnates, stone curtains and petrified waterfalls formed over centuries create a unique underwater or fairy-tale world. The length of the tourist route is about 1.4 kilometers and includes several beautiful halls. Modern artistic lighting is installed in the cave and pleasant music sounds, which makes the process of visiting even more impressive. At the end of the walking tour, visitors can enjoy a boat ride on the cave's inner underwater river.

Martville Canyon
Martvili Canyon is one of the most impressive and popular natural monuments of Samegrelo region, namely Martvili municipality. It is located near the village of Gachedil, in the valley of the Abashi river. The length of the canyon reaches 2400 meters, and the height of its rocky walls varies from 20 to 40 meters. It features emerald/turquoise water, rich Colchian vegetation, moss covered rocky gorges and beautiful cascading waterfalls. Historically, this place was the bathing place of the princely family of Dadiani. Today, the canyon has modern tourist infrastructure - paved footpaths, viewing platforms and bridges. Visitors can enjoy a boat ride in the Abashi river valley, which makes the sightseeing even more impressive.

Batumi
Batumi is the capital of Adjara and the main resort town on the Black Sea coast. The city is famous for its seaside boulevard, modern architecture, historical streets of old Batumi and piazza square. On the boulevard there is a moving statue "Ali and Nino" and the alphabet tower, which look especially beautiful in the evening light. From Batumi, you can easily go to the Botanical Garden, Mtirala National Park and the waterfalls of the mountainous region of Adjara.
