Bridge of Peace

One location, many impressions

The Bridge of Peace is one of the most recognizable structures of Tbilisi's modern architecture. The glass and steel construction is placed on Mtkvari and connects Old Tbilisi with Riki Park. From the bridge there are beautiful views of the river, Narikala, the Metekhi side and the houses of old Tbilisi. Its modern design creates an interesting contrast with the historic buildings that surround it. During the day, the bridge is a great place to see the panorama of the city, and in the evening, the illuminated structure looks especially effective. A walk on the Peace Bridge is a good opportunity to discover the modern and historical aspects of Tbilisi at the same time.
