One location, many impressions
Ananuri fortress is a historical complex located on the shore of the Zhinvali reservoir. Old castle walls, towers and churches are gathered here, which reflect an important part of the medieval history of Georgia. The location of the complex is particularly interesting — historical architecture and mountainous nature are combined in one space. Ananuri is one of the most impressive stops on the military road of Georgia.
