Jvari Monastery is a historical and religious monument located near Mtskheti, which is built on a high hill. From here there is an impressive panoramic view of Mtskheta, the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers and the surrounding mountains. The monastery is one of the important historical monuments of Georgia and creates a special atmosphere in the first part of the trip.
