One location, many impressions
Ureki is a Black Sea resort in Guria famous for its black magnetic sand. The sand contains magnetite, so the grains cling to a magnet held close to them. Magnetic sand has long been credited with healing properties and is used for cardiovascular, joint and nervous-system complaints. The shallow, gently deepening sea and the pine-lined shore make Ureki especially popular for family holidays.
