Makhuntseti waterfall is one of the most famous, impressive and crowded natural monuments of mountainous Adjara. It is located in Kedi Municipality, Makhuntseti village, about 30 kilometers from Batumi. The stream of water cascading from a height of about 50 meters descends into a rocky valley and forms a natural pool below. The powerful flow of the waterfall and the surrounding rocky environment give the place a special energy and a grand appearance, which attracts visitors at any time of the year. Its convenient location and proximity to the main highway make it an essential stop on Adjara excursion routes. Makhuntseti Arch Bridge
The arched bridge of Makhuntseti, which is often called "Tamari Bridge", is one of the most impressive and famous monuments of the medieval architecture of Adjara. It is located in the municipality of Kedi, in the village of Makhuntseti, on the Acharistkal river. The bridge dates back to the 11th-12th centuries and is distinguished by its scale and refined proportions. It is built of cut stones of the volcanic variety, which are bonded by boiling. The length of the bridge reaches about 20 meters, and the height is more than 6 meters above the river level. Over the centuries, it has withstood floods and time, which speaks of the high-tech knowledge of the masters of that time. The bridge historically connected important trade and transit routes. Today, it is one of the main tourist locations of Adjara, which perfectly blends with the surrounding mountainous landscape and the rapid flow of the river.

Mirveti waterfall
Mirveti waterfall is one of the most magical and outstanding natural sights of Adjara. It is located in Khelvachauri municipality, Mirveti village. The water cascading from a height of about 20 meters descends into a rocky gorge and forms a small, crystal clear pool. Mirveti Arch Bridge is one of the outstanding historical-architectural monuments of Adjara. It is located in the municipality of Khelvachauri, in the village of Mirveti, on the right bank of the Chorokhi River, where a small stream joins the main river. The bridge belongs to the medieval period and is built in the form of a hemispherical arch. It is built of hewn stone, where every detail is an example of craftsmanship preserved over centuries. Historically, the bridge performed an important transport function and connected the villages and trade routes of the valley. Nowadays, the bridge is perfectly integrated with the surrounding green nature. It is surrounded by abundant vegetation and moss-covered trees, which gives the place an amazing historical and fairy-tale look.

Gvara Fortress
Gvara Fortress is one of the outstanding historical monuments of Mountainous Adjara. The fortress stands on a high rocky ridge, with wide and impressive views of the mountains and valleys of Adjara. The ruins of the fortress date back to the Middle Ages, and its location served an important strategic function. From the height it was possible to control the surrounding valleys and roads, which is why this place was historically an important defensive point. Today, the ruins and fragments of stone walls remind us of the centuries-old history of this area. Machakhela Gorge
The Machakhela Gorge is a forested valley along the Machakhelistskali river in southern Adjara, on the Turkish border. In 2012 the Machakhela National Park was created here to protect its Colchic forests, waterfalls and mountain villages. The gorge was historically famous for its gunsmiths: the "Machakhela rifle" was prized throughout Georgia. Medieval arched stone bridges survive here, and the Machakhela Historical-Ethnographic Museum is in the village of Zeda Chkhutuneti.
