About this Place
One location, many impressions
Goderdzi Alpine Botanical Garden lies near the Goderdzi Pass at 1,859–1,960 metres above sea level. Here subalpine and alpine ecosystems are protected in their natural setting and can be seen up close. The garden covers several types of habitat — forest, meadow, lake and marsh — and many of its plants grow only in this region. Paths run across mountain meadows and along the forest edge. The garden is open to visitors from June to October. The weather in the mountains changes quickly, so be sure to bring warm clothes.
