One location, many impressions
Kvariati is a small seaside village between Gonio and Sarpi, 15 km from Batumi. It is known for one of the cleanest beaches in Adjara: clear water, large pebbles and wooded headlands dropping into the sea make it good for diving and snorkelling. Above the village, on the mountain road, a viewpoint takes in the Kvariati bay, Gonio and Batumi in the distance in one frame. Tangerine and citrus orchards cover the slopes.
