Batumi Trinity Church (Trinity Mountain Church) is one of the most famous and impressive spiritual and tourist attractions of Adjara. It is located on Mount Sami, about 400 meters above sea level. The temple was built in the second half of the 19th century, but it was almost completely destroyed by fire during the Soviet period. At the beginning of the 21st century, it was rebuilt and today it is a functioning nunnery. The complex is distinguished by sophisticated architecture and a well-kept, green yard. A beautiful panoramic view of the whole of Batumi, the Black Sea and the surrounding mountains can be seen from Mount Sami. This place is special both for spiritual peace and for enjoying the best views of the city.
